Discover NEOM is the official tourism and cultural engagement app for Saudi Arabia’s NEOM region. It allows travelers, business visitors, and residents to explore attractions, events, accommodations, and cultural highlights, while providing essential services for trip planning and local engagement.

The Challenge
The NEOM Tourism Department needed a multi-language, culturally sensitive platform that showcased the region’s attractions while also serving diverse audiences — from tourists and residents to business travelers. The app had to balance modern smart city features with intuitive, accessible navigation.
The Solution
I led UX design for several core modules, ensuring a seamless and culturally respectful experience:
Business Travelers – Dedicated tools for planning meetings, exploring NEOM’s business ecosystem, and finding services.
Help Center – Centralized support with self-service resources and live assistance.
Content Management System (CMS) – Designed an internal tool for NEOM staff to manage listings, media, and updates.
Arabic Localization – Applied Arabic UX patterns and right-to-left layout optimizations to ensure cultural and linguistic accessibility.
Results and Impact
Delivered a modern, responsive tourism app that reflects NEOM’s smart city vision.
